The Presidential Palace in Libya is said to have a massive mosaic tile poster of the film 10 in the entry foyer. Surprisingly the poster does not feature Bo Derek. That is because Muammar Gaddafi is a huge fan of British actor and comedian Dudley Moore. Gaddafi has followed Moore since his early days with Peter Cook and has publicly stated his autographed copy of Beyond the Fringe is one of his most valued treasures.

Gaddafi had a home theater added to the palace in 2002 and every Friday since it’s completion has screened his all-time favorite film Arthur.

It is this infatuation with Arthur, and particularly Dudley Moore, that the Brits, on behalf of the U.N., hope to exploit. Working in conjunction with agents in Hollywood, British Prime Minister David Cameron has arranged that the upcoming remake of Arthur will premiere in Tripoli.

Russell Brand as Arthur

The plan has a simple strategy, drive Gaddafi insane with the performance of Russell Brand. Releasing this stink bomb in Gaddafi’s back yard will have similar effects that one would expect from traditional military armament targeted at the Libyan leader while having minimal civilian casualties. It is expected Gaddafi will take his own life upon seeing the bastardization of his favorite film.

Giving Brits and Americans further confidence in the plans success is Gaddafi’s blatant hatred of Ben Affleck. Gaddafi blames Affleck for “taking all the fun out of watching the Americans getting their asses kicked” in the film Pearl Harbor. Even Gaddafi, a sentimental movie buff, hated Gigli and immediately proclaimed all Alleck films illegal throughout Libya. Jennifer Garner co-stars with Brand and Gaddafi is well aware Garner is married to Affleck and will consider the Affleck household profiting from this film as an injustice of a despised infidel.

Gaddafi renowed Arthur fan

“Gaddafi will be in a crazed state and will be extremely vulnerable when we hit him with the second wave” said an unidentified military official. Almost immediately following the films premiere, U.S. bombers will release thousands of miniature cardboard cut-outs of Russell Brand and Liza Minelli, each with their own parachute that will descend on the palace like a ticker tape parade. Ground troops are set to blast a loop of Arthur’s Theme by Christopher Cross. “We expect him to kill himself by the fifth or sixth time he hears ‘If you get caught between the Moon and New York City, The best that you can do ….. The best that you can do is fall in love’“.
