LONDON –  There were to be no paparazzi in St Mary’s Hospital. Yet an amateur videographer from Bury St Edmunds, who accepted a last minute invitation from Prince William, was in the delivery room with a camera. While filming a midwife moved some equipment and a 2 second mirror view of the Royal Scone is seen. The footage was compromised, edited into a loop and uploaded to the internet.

Niles Cook, whose web series Fish and Chicks went viral across the UK and beyond in recent weeks, had earned a fan in William. “He called me himself on Saturday. Don’t know how he got my number, but he said he loved my work and asked if I were available on Monday for a secret project.” Cook answered reporters after the word was out on the footage. “He told me not to look at it many times while filming. It was not intended.”

MI6 officials believe those responsible used bluetooth technology to connect with Cook’s camera minutes after the birth when they surmise the download was pilfered without Cook’s knowledge.

Although the loop, already featuring Young MC’s Buster Move as the soundtrack, is on the internet, most people will never see it. The unidentified IP address requires multiple pass codes before the video is accessible.  Almost exclusively Indian and Pakistani men have been the ones cracking the code according to monitoring authorities.

Queen Elizabeth, when asked to comment upon arriving at St Marys, said she was “not good with the emailing machine”, but urged those who are, not to even look for it. The Queen went on to say Daniel Craig will hunt down anyone looking to propagate this unfortunate circumstance.

The Duchess herself was not told Cook would be present and filming until seconds before labor began at 2:54 p.m.. William had intended to film the event himself with his Samsung Galaxy S.  He later thought it better to leave that duty to someone with experience and the proper equipment, since he envisioned the couple would be re-watching it for hours each night and wanted true HD for viewing on any screen in the palace.

The baby boy was born at 4:24 p.m., weighing 8 pounds, 6 ounces. A name has not yet been announced but there seems to be growing popularity for Buster.
